Ive had this for some time now (im 21) and if i sit in same position for long or sometimes even not when sitting for long it happens, like my upper back lower neck starts burning and then like tiny pinches all over it! Really uncomfortable! Comes and goes but more so comes at work! Starting to think its moving lower?! Any ideas or advice! Thanks x
If this is only a recent thing I would try to sit straight when sitting, avoid slouching and sit up straight rather than driving your car with reclined seats (assuming you drive).
If this problem has been going on for more than a few weeks I would go to a doctor, you may have an injury or dislocation.
Here is a good site I found about Back Pain. I has a lot of info and covers multiple facets of Pain.

Sounds like your have a pinched nerve somewhere. HAve you done anything outside the 'norm' lately? Also, believe it or not, when we get pain, it t tends to make us really worried and the mind can do strange things.
I just think its a nerve issue, go see your doc..don't see a chiropractor until you have straightened out(literally) your back! Nothing to fool around with. Good luck!
