You see, my guinea pig, Edward has been turning his little house-hideaway thing upside down. Every time I put it right side up again, he turns it back over.
My first guess was that he wanted it out of the cage, but I don't know. Maybe he is just turning the house over for his own amusement. Do any of you know what this could mean?
Nothing to worry about. that's common in guinea pigs.
if there bored they tend to do that. I have 5 little piggies. They do it all the time.
by the way Edward is a cute name.
good luck to you and your guinea pig.<3
my sister's guinea pig does that also, and if we keep uprighting it he'll stand on it and squeak until we leave the room, then he turns it over.
I think some just like the house turned over or are extremely clumbsy
No problem! I got my hamster a brand new house. It flipped it over so I thought it did it by mistake, so i put it upright again. She flipped it over again and chewed a hole in the bottom. I decided to let it be and my hamster loves it. It is like a tunnel made out of straw and wood for her.
I don't think I could get her a better home. I think your guinea pig likes it that way. Let 'em remodel their own cage! lol Good luck!
My guinea pigs do it all the time, they prefer to lie in it like it's a nest, not have it over the top of them. Sounds ridiculous but I think my guinea-pig's claustrophobic!
Hugs to Edward
xx
He doesn't want his pigloo out of the cage. He is just finding something to do & flipping his pigloo obviously amuses him. My piggies do that all the time.
Just let him do it if he wants. His cage is like his bedroom, ok so in your room if you do something too it and you like it wouldn't you be mad if someone kept messing it up. Well for some reason the Guinea wants his hideway to be upside down cause he likes it so stop turning it right side up it's his room (cage) he can do just about whatever he wants to do to it like you can do just about whatever you want to do to your room to make it the way you want. There is nothing wrong with him doing that it just amuses him or maybe he is a little curious.
He is just trying to have some fun. That's what my piggies do. Doug will flip his igloo upside down and he will drag his cow in their with him. My Moo Cow flips his igloo over, too. They are just playing.
it means that your guinea pig needs more time playing with you and more fun things to do in his cage. then he should stop. if he does not then maybe you want to try a different house
just leave him
