Now I am even more confused!With reference to my previous questions,my blood work was negative but when they did an ultrasound the doc saw a sac of +-5 weeks and said it was too early to see if there was anything inside but she suspects a false pregnancy. She told me to wait for a week or two and see what happens. I have been feeling very tired,nauseous in the morning, headaches and have experienced some mild cramping the last few days. Did a HPT on Tuesday afternoon and got a faint positive,did another one Wednesday morning and got another faint positive,the line was a bit darker than the one from Tuesday.Did another blood test yesterday and it came back negative? I don't understand what could be going on! I feel like I am pregnant, but the blood work disagrees! Has this happened to anyone?
It sounds like your going to have to wait it out. I had a faint positve line on the home test and WAS pregnant, and i didnt get an ultra sound until 7 weeks in and they could see that I was preggo. both Blood test and the HPT (EPT- urine test) test for hormones that are elevated during pregnancy, now some times your mind tells your body that you are pregnant but you really are not but the hormones, morning sickness, and a few of the other signs will be there.
these cases are rare but not unheard of.
