do you have to use cross ties, some horses dont like being on them and get upset.
you need to correct with in 3 -4 seconds when he misbehaves,
dont tap him on the nose
what i do is give them a pop under the chin and get really stern with him,
if you can just take him out of the area and make him stand on a tie and
let him figure out that nothings happening.
also look into finding a book on behavioral issues
those help alot,
