I have had a less sugar frosting on a cake and it was great .Do you know the recipe ?

1 c. lowfat cottage cheese

What does the "C" in 1/4C candied ginger stand for please ? and do you . We already have some sugar-free candied ginger. (raw cane sugar) for the sugar in the cake as well as for the frosting on top?

1 tbsp. nonfat plain yogurt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. light cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
In a blender or food processor, puree cottage cheese, yogurt and vanilla. Add cream cheese and blend until creamy. Slowly mix in powdered sugar. Frost cake when cooled.
Well I know that you can mix cool whip with store bought frostings and they aren't as sweet tasting.
