for the past year. my husband and i... get to spend time together on sundays and sundays only. the other 6 days, we just run into each other coming and going because our schedules conflict with one another. when i'm going to work, he's just getting off of his graveyard shift and going to bed. when i get off work i go straight to school and get off just in time to make it home to see him for about 30 mins before he goes to work. i REALLY hate this! well, we both do, but what has to be done, has to be done... and a sex life is basically non existant...

I am I work my 1st job from 8am to 4pm, then my 2nd job 4pm to 8:30pm. It is hard to find time to be together, But you said you have 30 mins.... make the best out of the time you have. Its only temp.
At this point in time, with the economy and the world in chaos, I'd just be glad you both have a job. Remember, it isn't the quantity of time you spend together, it's the quality. So, when Sunday comes around, make that your day. No arguments, no fighting, just a day for the two of you to catch up and do something with just the two of you. i was married to a cop for 4 years and it always felt like that...try to make as much time as you can for each other and make sundays your special time together and just have and SEX all day..lol...you guys will get through it hopefully you dont have much school left...can he switch shifts?

My hubby and I had this schedule of opposite shifts for a few years and it came down to we had to bite the bullet and switch to the same shifts to make work it was a huge pay cut but I would have rather been broke with the man I love then have all the money and no one to share it with.
Sounds abit like the first 12 years of my marriage. (I usually had two days off though, but I was off during the week and she was off on the weekends) Make sure that at least once a week you RACE home to get a quickie in before he has to go to work then you can languish in bed as long as you want on Sunday. With promotions and job advancement this won't be forever. It is one of the reasons we have been married over 20 years. No time for fighting! (or cheating) Just make sure there are no kids involved until you after you graduate.
