I am a big for the Red Cross. I try to donate blood as often as possible, especially during the holidays. It is a charity that is needed year around and one I can give to often. Even when times are very tough and I have nothing to spare I can still spare an hour and a pint of blood. It's the gift of life and who knows, perhaps it will help a family keep someone around during the holidays that might otherwise have perished. It is a wonderful feeling for me to be able to give that.
