Yahoo! UK & Ireland has
entered a UK marketing agreement with satellite broadcaster
BSkyB, extending a relationship
between Yahoo! and News Corp. established in the U.S. earlier this year.
"By utilising the powerful online properties of Yahoo! Sky's
online presence can reach a new level of awareness," claimed
Ian West, Sky Entertainment's managing director.
"As a leader in the pay television category in the UK, we're
delighted to work with a leading Internet company like Yahoo!
UK & Ireland to explore new and innovative ways to expand

Fabiola Arredondo, managing director Yahoo! Europe, expressed
her satisfaction at concluding the deal, but did not reveal
any further details.
