Manugistics Group, Inc. is creating a new alliance with NetVendor to deliver enhanced capabilities for Manugistics' Web-based order planning, management and execution solution. Under the alliance, Manugistics will embed NetVendor's E.MBRACE sell-side software solution within Manugistics NetWORKS.

The joint solution will deliver an integrated order planning, management, and execution system that allows companies to deploy a single solution to manage new and existing sales channels. E.MBRACE provides a Web interface for optimized order promising, pricing, and delivery decisions.
Planned joint sales and marketing activities will draw upon the two companies' respective strengths across key industry verticals.

"Manugistics' selection of NetVendor's E.MBRACE sell-side solution will help provide front-end order management to its Enterprise Profit Optimization solution, giving users a comprehensive set of tools for collaborating with customers and managing their supply chain."
The Rockville, Md.-based Manugistics is a global provider of Enterprise Profit Optimization (EPO) software, which simultaneously optimizes a company's supply- and demand-side functions.
