accelerated combined programs:: College of Dentistry, University of Florida offer combined degree programs medical curricula in seven years instead of the traditional eight years, while http://www.fiu.edu/~biology/under/seven.htmlHOME | Could you please gather together a list of colleges that offer a
program for medical students that is 7 years and getts them their MD
(ie they do 3 years at the college then 4 at a med school). These
programs eliminate the
burdon of applying to med school after college. I am trying to find
some schools and I found Drew and the college of NJ but i would like
to get a complete list as to see what my choices are. I would like to
get accepted into one of these programs but would like to know the
schools that have it.
You may find the following list to be helpful:

thank you for this answer, the link you provided is very usefull.
However, i am not sure that this lists all the avaliable programs. I
heard that Georgetown and also Brown had this, but i could be
mistaken. Could you just look around and see if you find any not on
that list, and specifically see if these 2 have it or not. Thanx
Hi! Thanks for the nice rating!
I have checked the Georgetown website and there was no indication of a
7 year accelerated medical program there. However; Brown University
has and is included in the first link I gave you which lists the
schools with this type of program. It is in the Rhode Island area
about halfway down the page.
Another school which was not on the list:
New jersey Institute of Technology (The description is in Page 3)

I have checked other schools and still they were on the first links.
Thanks again for visiting us!
Hi folks. FYI, Brown medical program offers admission straight out of
high school, but the program takes the full 8 years.
Text and link below:
"The Program in Liberal Medical Education is an eight-year, seamless
continuum of liberal arts and medical education leading to both the
bachelor's and M.D. degrees. The PLME is open to high school graduates
who have applied to and are simultaneously admitted to Brown for their
undergraduate studies. The PLME seeks highly qualified and strongly
motivated high school students who are committed to a career in
medicine at an early age and who also wish to pursue another area of
academic interest to an advanced level of scholarship within the
framework of a broad liberal education.
Applicants to the PLME constitute the largest group who seek admission
to Brown Medical School. From a large (about 1,600) and hightly
qualified applicant pool, roughly 60 students matriculate annually."
