Snap.com and XOOM.com Inc. Thursday sealed a $75 million content deal with HealthGate Data Corp., making the company the main provider of health content within Snap.com's health channel.

HealthGate will pay $75 million to appear on the Web sites and in some of the sites television advertising; Snap.com and Xoom.com will not pay HealthGate.

The three-year agreements will also grant HealthGate, a leading provider of health and medical information over the Web, prominent placement in select Snap.com commercials slated to air on the NBC Television Network.
Also, XOOM.com (XMCM)
and HealthGate will offer co-branded e-commerce offers to HealthGate members, or those online users who sign up for HealthGate content on Snap.com's health channel.
HeathGate will be featured in Snap.com on-air advertisements designed to promote the Snap/HealthGate co-branded areas on Snap.com, the Internet portal service company from NBC and CNET (CNET).
