The report provides cross-border call volumes for over 100 countries, plus carrier market shares, Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) route rankings, retail and wholesale call prices, and other detailed analysis.

According to TeleGeography, Primus' growing share of international traffic origination resulted in leading market positions in Australia (third), Canada (third), Germany (third), the Netherlands (fourth), United Kingdom (sixth), and the United States (sixth).

TeleGeography compiles and analyzes international telecom statistics. An independent subsidiary of Band-X Ltd., TeleGeography publishes reports and maps that are used by thousands of communication companies, consultancies, governments, and financial institutions in over 100 countries. The company's flagship report on international traffic -- the self-titled TeleGeography series -- has been published annually since 1989.
