i came across this which supports commercial advance on a pc client replaytv player:
http://replayguide.sourceforge.net/vlc/vlc81_alpha1/index.html
i'd love to see commercial advance in the replaytv support xbmc has.
the above link has the source code, so perhaps it wouldnt be to difficult to implement.
i don't think it's possible, since xbmc is simply reading the mpg file, but i thought i'd ask. thanks.
@eone, he compiled vlc for linux as he has xebian linux on his xbox :shifty: that's just as if he compiled it for debian linux for his x86 pc :p = doesn't help us at all
the developer over avs forum has succesfully compile videolan to run in xbox, maybe it can be included on the xbmc?
the thread on this is:
xbox commercial advance (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=575011)
would be great if you could use this modified source code (http://replayguide.sourceforge.net/vlc/vlc81_alpha1/index.html) for the videolanclient(vlc) to implement this into the xbmc support for replaytv.
i am unsure of how hard it would be or if the source code i linked to would be of any help at all in adding this feature, just thought it would be nice though...
