i remembered watching this old anime that aired in the 90s. What i remembered was there are 3 main characters. One teen boy and 2 ladies. they are supposed some sort of space cops and they carry around guns which fired red beams n require them to reload when low on energy. They were facing enemies who has white faces and having their weak spot depicted by a red circle on these aliens' bodies. I remembered that there was this commander alien that had 2 horns and was a nemesis to the teen boy where they battled many times. The space cops also had some sort of a bike that they could ride and could transform into body armour for them.
i know this!you made me dig into my old copies of animag from 1988!but okay it was red photon zillion.it was 2 guys and 1 girl.the leader was a teenager code named j.j.
the girl was codenamed apple.
the other guy was cn champ.the aliens were called the noza,and the horned leader was named baron ricks!!!but this show was based on the zillion gun,which was the original laser tag!!!they also made a laser tag cartoon too that aired on ch 7 in ny where i live.that was around the 80's era.but yeah it sounds like zillion to a t.thanks for getting me to dust off these old magazines!
