Okay, I am computer illiterate - so no rude comments please. I tried to figure this out and couldn't. Can anyone tell me how to get a pic from my hard drive to my Yahoo Avatar? I do not have a 360 account, but even if I did - i would have the same problem because I couldn't change the avatar there either.

If you want a photo/custom picture as your avatar you need to make a yahoo 360 account. http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=ht...

The photo needs to be saved on your computer as a jpg file, don't worry about the size to much yahoo will adapt it.

Yahoo engineers are still working on improvements throughout all yahoo sites and some avatars may be slow to show (it could even be a day or so) so try to be patient.

go to YA page
click ur nickname
click "edit my info"
click the button "use my 360 picture"
click preview & ok
