TOYOTA MR2 SPYDER 2003 − FRONT END MASK Part Number: PT218−17030:: File Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat - View as HTMLAttach mask to previously installed snaps. (Fig. C−3). 3. Pull mask down over front of vehicle. Attach. two (2) middle plastic clips onto side of wheel http://www.toyotapart.com/installation/PT218-17030.pdfHOME | Hi there -
i am trying to apply a mask to some attached movieclips.
i am having some problems, i am assuming due to the depth difference between the mask (placed on stage hence with a negative depth) and the attached movie clips (positive depth).
i have tried swapping depths and also assigning a higher depth to the mask (using getNextHighestDepth), but nothing seems to work.
does anybody know of any way around this? (btw...is it possible to attach a mask?)
Try putting your mask on the attached movie itself, not on the main .fla that is doing the attaching (ie "the stage"). I have been successful with this method and have never had a 'depth' issue.
If all of your elements on are on the stage of your attached movie -
make them a movie symbol and then mask them on the stage of the attached movie.
Essentially - you are masking at the source.
use setMask()
