If your palpitations are anxiety induced it may be worth talking to your GP about CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) this can be very beneficial. If your smoking, stop and reduce caffeine intake.
The lab and other tests might be normal, but if you have a family history of heart disease there is a high probablity that you will experience arrythmia more often. Arythmia is heart beat disorder and it is rarely noticed in the ECD or echocardiogram tests while the person is in normal condition, but if it keeps happening you might probably need to take it seriously and there is a device called ICD which controls your heart beat 24 hrs a day. It is the safest monitoring system so far. heart diseases are too risky to ignore. You might want to ask your doctor about ICD (implantable cardioventer defibrillator).
