I've been with my boyfriend for a year and 8 months. We have a great relationship and I love him a lot. I'm at a dorm during the week and he's at hometown uni. Yesterday he went to a party with one of his friends and they were up to the second bottle of liquor by midnight (just the 2 of them). I just texted him to have fun, then after that I got a text about him saying that he was with 2 girls there who know 2 of my guyfriends at my dorm. I know both those girls and they're sluts so that made me slightly uncomfortable. Again, I told him to have fun - hoping that he wouldn't feel the need anymore to give me hourly updates on the girls he was meeting. Then he sent me another text about a girl whose name made him laugh. I replied very shortly to that because I was a bit annoyed with it. I mean, I know that when he goes out he talks to girls and I'm ok with that since I also talk to guys. But I don't feel the need to constantly know about every single one of those girls. Why does this annoy me?
He was off his face, that's it. People do stupid things while tanked. Don't worry about it, he'll sober up and come crawling back.

i dunno---partying at differnt scools---thats a tough line to walk and not get jealous.
He could just be playing the jealous game. Guys do that as well as girls. Maybe he feels you're affections aren't as strong as they used to be and he is trying to provoke you into jealousy and so strengthen whatever you guys have. it WOULD bother you, it SHOULD. It would bother me. I have no problems with my guy goin out with other chics, but if he starts telling me all about them, I know he's trying to get me jealous.

This is a classic - men just don't think the way we do! He was probably so drunk, that he thought you would find it funny & nothing else! Men are idiots in this regard - I have had a boyfriend in the past do a similar thing. They then don't understand why you are annoyed!!
Men don't analyse everything the way we do - he wouldn't have realised his texts would be making you feel uncomfortable, etc. Just tell him he's a muppet (while laughing) and move on from it!

I wouldn't say you're jealous at all.
I'd say he is being a typical boy and trying to rub it in your face that he has some girl attention.
Plus boys when they are drunk especially in long relationships can sometimes be a bit inconsiderate when they are away from you.
I would honestly just ask him straight up front. This happened with my ex, I was with him for like 2 years and loved him to bits but when he goes to parties and text me about girls and him especially when you kinda know what the girl is like and he fully knows well what she is like it's kinda making a point of attention.
If you just ask him why he does it he'll one, know that it kinda gets to you, which honestly, it might just irritate you not make you jealous. Two might stop him doing it. Just explain to him you don't want to not text you just less of the girls....
Maybe I'm wrong just some previous advice!
Hmm Seems like he is trying to make you jealous... or that He just doesn't realise that he is hurting you... You should have a talk with him..tell him how you feel... and then maybe he might stop doing it.. Best of luck XxXxXxX
