I'm a huge fan of Fiona Apple, who has only released three albums in twelve years. I wish she'd do more, though every album from her is a treat.

I'm gonna have to say on the Pixies note... I've only heard bad things about their new music, I mean I wish they had more music in the older style they had before disbanding, but its not a reality considering what I've heard and seen. :( We can dream though, I think this is what theis question is for.
I wish that Soundgarden and Jane's Addiction and Death From Above 1979 would make more musica for us listeners.

Arcade Fire, since 2004 they've only released two LPs. They were exceptionally well, though. Of course, that's normal for bands, but they're one of the best around today and I would love some more music from them.
I agree with Kasabian, and would like to add The Klaxons.

I can't believe I forgot about The Pixies. They were great at releasing albums before they disbanded. But they've been reunited for 4 years--it's time for them to come out with a new album.

They only released like 2 studio albums (both awseome). They reunited last year but I don't know if they are working on new material. They have quite a few EP's from the 80's but I can't be bothered finding them all. I wish they just made more full length studio albums.

I love Fiona Apple. She has said she only writes when she feels she has to. I really like that, and of course she said it more eloquently than I can.
I wish that Superjoint Ritual had released more than 2 albums in the 9 years they were together.
