We are looking for talented persons to design two logos for our web sites. Each logo gets $50 deposit in paypal, and if someone is so good to win both will also get a pagerank 5 link to his/her site for 6 months.
This is not a regular job offer, as it is a contest.
For more information refer here :

I don't think is little.
Proffesionals get about 50 - 70 for a logo.
50 isn't evey worth the time of day.
If you know what you are doing, an dhave the school to back it up, 50 bucks won't pay off your school loan nor get gas for a week.
but if you have a 13 yr old do it, then you get what you pay for.
how do u want us to submit them?
i hope to try
Gotta love the contest method of getting something made. Get free or real cheap work that way:lol: Qualities of Good Graphic Design: Skills and Education Needed to :: A great graphic designer does more than just design posters or Web sites. hehe! im only 13 so i might aswell try, $50 whats that in pounds?
Our firm charges roughly $1,000-2,000 per logo.
To get better reaction it might be wise to raise the prize money. A logo is the most important part of one's identity package.
This logo is going to represent and enhance your business dealings well beyond $50-$75.
Members - make sure you are getting your money's worth. If the price this post offers is good for your situation, then more power to you. Otherwise be wise :)agreed 100%
Nikolas, I hate to tell you but, 50 bucks seems too little. Especially when you want the rights to the logo.
^ i dont think i will spend more than an hour on this, so i think its a pretty reasonable price

I hate to chime in, but if a 'professional' was charging for a 'professional' logo, I very much doubt it would come in anywhere under $500 as an absolute minimum, I certainly wouldn't charge under that unless it was for a friend etc.
But good luck, you should get some keen kids in on this.
50 bucks is 50 bucks,
competition is good - the best men wins - it is not only about the stinking $$$
I wish I was smarter and could do it:m:
I would think of trying but maybe I should wait till I get better.
I am not even good enough to make a 50$ logo.
Man thats sad.

I am only chiming in to dispell this for our younger or less experienced members. No they dont. I often do hook ups for board members for average between 150-250 and that is the hook up price. Most designers (myself included) Get more than 500 per logo. At times I go over 1k. Signing away the rights for 50 bucks is not really a good deal. But good luck to all. And good luck to the contest holder.
Hey people, this is not the place for this kind of discussion. :) I appreciate the views expressed so far but let's return to the topic. If you are interested in the job contact the poster otherwise don't.
Thanks

The whole competition things puts me off- because u do hard work but guaranteed a job
^ shhhh :look:
I dont see, if you are good at something at the age of 13. Why would you get a lower pay? I mean, work is work, does it matter from what age it comes?
It would be one thing if the quality shifted with the age. But if it didnt. Then an 13 year old would be worth the same as an 20 year old, or am im far out now?
v, Sorry lunatic :)
i'll give it a try!
Meh... I'm a starter so I think I'll give it a try.

I also have to chime in....
$50 for a logo is a bit too low, in fact that is the rate that you charge friends and family...
prstudio is right. I work for a design studio and logos go for a couple of grand, some get into the 10k range.
