Host bus adapters (HBAs) vendor Emulex Corp. this week announced that its Fibre Channel HBAs are now available from Dell to enable storage area networking (SAN) connectivity for CLARiiON systems co-branded by Dell and EMC.
As a result of the multi-billion dollar enterprise storage agreement also announced this week by Dell and EMC, Emulex Fibre Channel HBAs are available to Dell customers immediately for a number of operating system environments, including Windows. Further, Dell customers may now leverage testing and qualification work previously completed by EMC.
